I love this poem … simple, direct, almost Haiku-like.

I, too, love the simplicity of this poem…but the tone makes me sad. Emotion is a good thing, though…that is what poetry seeks.

I am glad that you felt the emotion. I tried to create a sense of longing with the use of small simple words and lines.
