Dance with the Unknown
throw cautiousness into the air
high and higher still
juggle it with maybe
one side of the same coin
how human to face the unknown
with fear and trembling
how human to suddenly throw
caution aside and leap
high and higher still
into the air
dance with maybe
and see what comes

Three Word Wednesday (cautious, human,
and maybe).

Impulse can be good.
Good write!
I like the mirrored strophes on either end. In literary criticism, it’s called an “inclusio.”
What an uplifting posting!

This reminds me of the song “Leap of Faith.”
Very enjoyable.
“dance with maybe” . . . perfect!
That is a gorgeous piece of poetry. Love the line “dance with maybe.”
