Freedom
wild abandonment
in the air a swallow flits
freedom uncontrolled

And don’t they express freedom in the air the best?
I love these gentle, flighty team-players! Thanks for this wonderful contribution.
“freedom uncontrolled”..in a single swallow will make countless summers..thank u for the wonderful thought..
And such a joyous flight, too. Well done!
Aren’t they lovely creatures! wild abandonment… I’d like some of that myself! Well done.
Pamela, lovely haiku and lovely photo of a swallow! Great job the two of you!
I don’t think I’ve ever had the joy of seeing a swallow - too much time living in cities. Your photo and poem are wonderful. I crave some of that wild abandonment for myself.
Oh yes - watching them in the air is freeing, isn’t it?
Free like a bird . . . . great concept.
Blessings,

‘Wild abandonment’ is such a great descriptive for freedom.
This so wonderful! And the photo fits in so perfectly with the motion of swallows while curving and sweeping over water.
O to be able to fly! What perfect freedom that would be.

Swallows do seem to have the wind by the tail.
Wonderful ‘capture’ and lovely accompanying Haiku ;–)

Superb Haiku to express the passion of freedom, and a great picture to go with it.:)
