Sweet Taste of Time

Category: My Poetry

the wings were twisted

delicate and fine as

your silver hair

locked in amber

carefree

untouched by time’s passing

will you decant this for me

chase the meaning of the words

shout the words aloud

oh taste the ambered wonder

feel the trembling timber of trapped wings

while we drink of time’s sweet honey

This is great! You really made the words your own.
    The last stanza is gorgeous.

The picture and words are facinating.

Yes, this is lovely. I really like the phrase “taste the ambered wonder.”

What a lovely way of using these words… I love the way the description of the amber is set within a relationship that we get glimpses of, but never entirely see.
