Strings
the strings of the violin
bow-stroked
are sent shivering
dancing in their own rhythm
sine waves traveling
slower than light
passing through dimensions
pushing the quarks aside
charmed and strange
leptons ride along
colors broken apart
music is born

Being a musician of both keyboard and viola I can say you’ve captured some real magic here. That last stanza is so great. I always play a game with myself as to what key the earth is tuned to… over my life that key changes.
Beautiful evocation of physics, number and music!
I feel to be inside the violin, very unique and pretty poem,
especially like the delicious vocabulary.
Leptons … cool.
Who sez physicians can’t dance?
very nice. we love the way you combine verse and image, always
The third stanza jumps out for me! Great going.
making inroads into I know what not
you given me a sensual and alive violin.
This is very nice!
