Loops and Lines

Category: My Poetry

the line angles abruptly

at the paper’s swift edge

up at a furious constancy

rhomboid in its fantasy

always traveling

while our voices whisper

through paralleled lines

past congruent lives

tracing conversations

arcing over unsaid thoughts

    Dear Pam–
this made me ponder the parallel and congruent lives…and what is the mandala that each life may doodle within.

    Thanks for this–

I like the way this seemed to give the doodle a mind or life of it’s own. Goes with the whole notion of the subconscious that Jim referred to. Hmmm.

I like how this prompt has brought out so much more than paper doodles. Your art is lovely, and your poem is just right on.

Ah, the hidden properties of doodling. So creative.

This poem makes me think about connection and disconnection and passion in relationships. How those lines move!

Your art is beautiful. The ideas and flow of connections is so mind-expanding. The last verses really made me think. Thanks for this.
