Ionic Sky
the ionic sky
throws
its frantic energy
calling out
gathering clouds
turning the sky
from blue to gray
to green
electrons discharge
flying along invisible
pathway
down
to the pebbled earth
splitting small
rocks in two
fusing sand into glass
after the rain
and the thunder depart
all that is left
are two halves of the same stone
