I love the dissonance presented between “thinking” and “borealis” as if there’s challenge and then a solution or action. Both lovely pieces. Thank you for sharing.

This inner voice speaks as a sailor to one who loves water and boats…enjoyable read.

    I like…
    water being sliced in two
    language of journey

    Thank you for sharing.

The way the water sliced was excellent. Nicely done.

What a nautical journey you’ve created here. It’s beautiful… water being sliced in two. Hope all is well.

I feel I have wandered into a dream as I read this. Languid and lovely. Inner voices can come from anywhere, eh.

“A dreaming borealis” is a wonderful image, to be sure. It summarizes the journey and lifts it heavenward.

Go North young lady! The west is too crowded already.
I trust your navigation skills, it seems as if you know
what you are doing and where you are going. May I go
with you? I will help ‘man’ the oars. :-)
This is sooooo pretty, I feel both sorry and envy for
your fragile body. Oh the lure of the unknown!

Beautiful! I love the intertidal waters linking the worlds, the deep wooden bowl of boat. Truly a journey of the spirit.

This is absolutely lovely and the more I look around you seem to be the most organized. Photo is stunning to say the least. The poem is well written and I like the ending also. Because no one knows do we? :) )

The first two lines captured me for this wonderful ride into the unknown.

Touches the heart of an old boatman, Pam; well done.
