  1. Hi! Rick,

Omg!…ha!…that too funny!…Did you see the “shock” on that guy’s face when he turned around and looked in the coffin to find the coffin empty!…and “lo and behold” he, backs up! …and looks up!…Ones’ worst nightmare!…
Btw Rick, What is the title of this film?

    dcd ;)

  2. dcd, it’s from Hammer’s first Dracula movie, called in England simply Dracula but here in the States Horror of Dracula. It stars Peter Cushing as Van Helsing and Christopher Lee as Dracula.

  3. Looks like an interestingly cheesy movie.

If you want to do a really, really interesting vampire movie, check out Habit from 1997. I was extremely impressed by it.

  4. Horror of Dracula was Christopher Lee’s first outing as Dracula, and he wasn’t anywhere near first billed. It was like, “with Christopher Lee as Dracula.” He went on to make six more for Hammer; in each, it became increasingly difficult to find ways to resurrect Dracula, who died at the end of each one.

Habit sounds interesting; maybe I’ll check it out.

  5. Hi! Rick,

Just in time for…Octoberfest, comes a (Shameless plug!)

  6. Wait.

Isn’t the rule that if you kill the head vampire all the other vampires change back?

Anyway, if I’m going to go down it’s going to be by the beautiful hands of a woman. Not the crusty, vein-y hands of Lee.

  7. Dear Evil:

Sure sounds like the rule to me, which is why this has his priorities all screwed up.

And at least you can go down with a bride’s lips on your throat, rather than Chris Lee’s.

Which is, when you think about it, an even uglier image than crusty, vein-y hands.
