Here’s a teaser trailer (you might want to let it load before you look at it).
Go on . . . do as the trailer commands. Google 2012 … I’ll wait [sound of humming in the background] . . .
Now. Can you say viral marketing? It all has something to do with the Mayan calendar, which predicts the end of the world on December 21, 2012. I especially like the following quote, that comes from an article you get when you actually Google “2012″:
So what will happen on Dec. 21, 2012? It’s likely that the day will pass with no major event happening at all. People may not even realize it’s the projected doomsday, although that’s unlikely considering how much press it’s likely to garner. We’ll just have to wait and see what happens — and hopefully update this article on Dec. 22, 2012.
We can all only hope as much . . .
[note: 2012 is being directed by Roland Emmerich, the auteur who brought you Independence Day and The Day After Tomorrow, and stars John Cusack, Amanda Peet, and Chiwetel Ejiofor. It opens June, 2009. Apparently, there's another one called 2012: The War for Souls, being directed by none other than Michael Bay. Seems you can't keep a good Mayan dooms-day scenario down].

Holy Shit! They ripped the music off of the trailer for Kubrick’s masterpiece…
THE SHINING.
I usually wouldn’t get mad at the use of music, because I know they do this all the time in trailers, but THE SHINING’s trailer is a small piece of art itself!
ps. They kind of rip the trailer off itself.

Hey Rick,
I really like Coosa Creek’s new look. Nice work.
Randy
Joe, they kind of do rip it off, don’t they? The water coming over the top and the blood coming out of the elevator and all . . . good call..
Randy, thanks. I’m glad you’re blogging more often over at your place.
